Shan K is a Principal Trainer and Consultant of Right Impact. He is a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for the great outdoors and experiential learning. His exposure in the field of learning and development has been for more than thirteen years and is specialised in corporate team development, service transformation and process facilitation.

His ability to inject energy into his participants has always made him an effective facilitator. To date, Shan has conducted over 500 training programmes for clients ranging from Small-Medium Enterprises, Multi-National Corporations, Government bodies and Non-Profit Organisations such as Barclays Capital, Applied Materials, TransitLink, NUS, Citibank, National Youth Council, Singtel, Sony, UOB, HP, RGS, LTA, MAS, NTUC Income etc. He was also involved in the training of the entire local Burger King team from the front liners to the management team in the area of team skills.

He conducts quality experiential learning programmes, radiating his jovial characteristics to the clients thus making the programmes enjoyable, unforgettable and impactful. Seeking to offer his clients valuable discoveries, his training as a Certified Behavioral Consultant has enabled him to attain this desire. As a trained facilitator in the DiSC Profiling System, his vision is to assist people in discovering their full potential and be successful in their personal and professional life. Clients who have benefited from his facilitation range from front line staff to directors of various companies and he has conducted training in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Vietnam and China.

Shan’s portfolio extends beyond the field of adventure learning. In his previous employment, while being a full-time facilitator designing and running corporate programmes, he was also the business leader for the youth arm of the company. What started off as a one-man operation became a fully functional and successful operating business entity with a staff size of 20. His vision has led to the development of its very own training site, en-route to becoming one of the largest adventure learning sites in Singapore for students.

Reading Materials Science in the National University of Singapore, Shan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. In addition, Shan is a Certified T. Harv Ecker Trainer and a fully certified Drum Circle Facilitator, under the tutelage of Arthur Hull, the creator of facilitated community drum circle and an internationally renowned percussionist. Shan has also just been certified in the STARt Reverse service transformation training programme as one of four facilitators in Asia.

Shan is a certified Emergenetics Administrator and Facilitator, and was recognised by Emergenetics International – Asia Pacific as the highest participant-rated Emergenetics trainer for 2016. In addition, in 2017, he wasinvited to speak at the bi-annual Emergenetics Brain Summit as one of two esteemed Asian speakers.
