TRAINER / CONSULTANT
Terence is an Associate Facilitator with Right Impact. He is also the Director & Principal Facilitator of TROST Learning.
He has been designing and delivering corporate learning and team development programmes as a facilitator and trainer over the last 10 years having worked with leading teambuilding companies as well as corporate training providers. Terence has facilitated over 500 hundred programmes corporate learning & development workshops with participants from junior staff to senior management from different countries in the region. Some of his key competencies include Team & Leadership Development, Thinking and Behavioural Profiling, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Innovation and Change Management.
He is able to weave training objectives as well as clients’ learning objectives creatively into unique experiential activities with effectiveness, energy and merriment. He never fails to offer his clients’ novel and useful perspectives in understanding ways to engage and enhance interpersonal relationship at work. As a dynamic, creative and quality-oriented professional, he is constantly exploring opportunities that provide continuing challenge and professional growth for himself as well as the people he engages.
Before Terence embarked on his training career, he was a mechanical engineer with a consulting firm, managing multiple construction projects. His niche is in the Mechanical and Electrical field, which has helped him, adopt many approaches and critical thinking processes.
Terence has worked with several companies and clients from various industries in Singapore and in the Region. These include, Citibank, DBS, HSBC, UBS, P & G, Unilever, SingTel, Singapore Powers, Ministry of Education (Singapore), Ministry of Finance(Singapore), Land Transport Authority, Housing and Development Board (Singapore), Civil Service College, DHL, TNT Logistics, Merck, RS Components, Rockwell Automation, Honeywell (Singapore & Shanghai), CapitaLand(Singapore & China), Caterpillar, INSEAD, Manulife, AIA, etc., which count among the more than 150 corporate clients. He was also among a team of trainers selected by the Singapore Youth Olympic Committee to be involved in the Volunteer and Effective Workforce Management & Leadership training for the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympic Games for over 1000 Staff as well as Volunteer Leaders.
Academically, Terence holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has a Graduate Diploma in Training and Development from the Singapore Human Resource Institute and an Advanced Certification in Training and Assessment (ACTA)by the Workforce Development and Authority.
He is also a Certified EMERGENETICS Associate, Behavioral Consultant (DISC) and Extended DISC Practitioner. He also holds a Certificate in Adventure & Experiential Learning (Building Community and Diversity) from Project Adventure, US and is also a member of the Association for Experiential Education, US.
Being and avid sports and outdoor enthusiast, his involvement with sports has seen him though being captain and sportsman of the year when he was an undergraduate. He also engages in a repertoire of other activities e.g. soccer, scuba diving, snow-boarding and ice climbing. His closeness to sports and team performance has provided inspiration and creativity in the way he designs and delivers his programmes.
